Poem

To Trust Again
by Jaclyn

To trust is difficult
To love is painful
To believe is to cult
To hurt is regretful

How much it hurts when one betrays
How much it means when one believes
How sad it feels to live in dull days
How painful to live with disrupts beliefs

Only if I knew whom to trust and whom to beware
Hurt would never even exist in my vocabulary
Only if I knew that at all times I must be aware
Or else love and friendship would be my adversary

I truly want to trust again
I want to trust without doubts
I need to know I won’t be slain
When promises are broken and makes doubts

Just once I wish I could believe
The words you said were real to be
All the jokes you had up your sleeve
Then I knew seeing wasn’t to see

One white lie grows large and big
Destroying all, making all feel betrayed
At times I just want to live and take a swig
Pushing away thoughts that had been swayed

I truly want to trust again
To trust again without any bounds
To live life not tainted with pain
Smiling at memories through old towns

Novel? or Essay?

I feel like writing something out of the blue, something nobody would think of, something twisted ;)
Anyway, I know it's been a while so I figured, "why not write something long that would take days to finish?"
I'm currently writing on a Chinese thing, not sure whether to list it under a novel or an essay because it's wayyy long. Or I guess it I would be long, so I'm not sure yet until I'm done with it.
When I have successfully completed it and have it checked for grammatical mistakes only then will I post it up on my other blog. I'm not sure when, but I hope soon, I don't want to end up writing a 200-page essay (which I most likely would)
Anyway, stay tuned. I might write some crazy sentimental poems when I am bored and not in the mood to finish up my "essay"

Senior Year

Down the path of countless roads
When on our backs we carry loads
To choose a path where fate shows
A path to pick, to pick and go

As moons and stars guide the night
The day escorted by zealous sunlight
May all unwind be blind at sight
Thus art thou future have its light

To tread a lane too long to end
Somnolence rose to wield one's hand
Soon to doze off on hard cold land
Failure and despair became a trend

A warrior whose pride riegns high and might
Shall not surrender without a fight

Be it defeat or be it victory
Tales of brave warriors go down in history.

To be called human
Is praise, no less
But called a vermin
Seriously, a pain in the ass

This poem may seem to have gone off a bit
But tales are long and tend not seem fit
Hence a tribute to tales that once were fit
A toast to all seniors to cheer up a bit

Happy New Year 2010 (Yay!... not..)

It's the New Year, so I thought I'd post up something... ToTALLY... BORING...

Yes, I am bored,
2009's gone
Yes, I am bored,
So I'm wishing last year so long

Bye old days,
New ones are here
Thanks old ways,
And thanks till here

I'm bored and I'm getting old
So are the days yet to be foretold

Yeah, it's stupid and boring. That's because I totally made it up in like 2 minutes... Can't expect any good stuff in 2 minutes, right??

Anyways, Happy New Year!!!!
